THE LOCAL AREA

Villa Aguas is only 5 -10 minute walk from the village of Guia which is located slightly inland forty minutes from Faro Airport and lies about 5 km from the magnificent beaches. 

Guia is a small but popular Algarvian village. It is an excellent location for the perfect holiday.

Famous for its range of authentic restaurants, all the facilities in the village of Guia are within easy walking distance of the villa. With its various restaurants and bars, Guia is a great place in which to wine and dine. There is a good supermarket, a small local market open daily for fresh produce and fish. There is a newsagents, butchers, bakers, post office, banks, chemist, hairdressers and nail bar.

It is only a few minutes drive from Algarve Shopping and Zoo-marine.  Guia is located in the centre of the Algarve and is within easy reach of all other resorts and places of interest.

The Villa is in an ideal location for golfers and holidaymakers alike. The nearest golf course is at Salgados, just 5 minutes drive away and situated by the beach.

Coast/Beach:

Some of the best beaches the Algarve has to offer are only 5km, a 5-10 minute drive away. We like Praia de Gale, Salgados , Everisto, Castello, San Lourenco and San Rafael beach. All offer good facilities and nice restaurants. 

The choice and variety of beaches are extensive. For those who like more hustle and bustle, Albufeira is less than 15 mins away with its marina, historic old town and even more beaches.

Travel:

Car hire is recommended but not essential. We can assist in all your transportation needs. Airports, beaches, nights out, tours etc without you having the worry of driving. Just ask and we will can arrange a private driver with people carrier for your holiday. Private transfer from Faro airport to Villa Os Pinheiros costs 50 euros for 8 people, 40 euros for 4 people.
